Our goal is to raise public awareness and provide education about breast health and cancer, increase screening and early detection and connect people to the resources they need for dealing with breast cancer diagnosis. The Komen Orange County Affiliate provides a variety of education and community outreach programs to achieve these goals, including Speakers Bureaus, Health Fairs, and a Hat & Wig Salon.  

Our Community Assessment which includes the Community Profile and Komen/ UCI Data Project provide direction for education and community outreach programs, and is the basis for determining the areas in need for breast health education and services.   This allows us to focus efforts where the work of the Affiliate can have the most significant impact.  For more information on our education programs and services call 714.957.9157.
