Volunteering

"Never doubt that a group of small committed citizens can change the world for, indeed, that is the only thing that ever has."
~ Margaret Mead ~

Volunteers are the lifeline of Komen Orange County. By assisting with outreach, education, office-based projects and special events such as the Race for the Cure®, volunteers significantly contribute to the Komen's promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality of care for all and energizing science to find the cures.

To volunteer, please complete the General Volunteer Application and return by following the directions at the bottom of the last page of the application. Then download the 2012 Volunteer Handbook.

We also have several Featured Volunteer Opportunities that change each month; check the Featured Volunteer Opportunities tab under the Volunteering header on the left to find out more.  Our Current Featured Volunteer Opportunities are for Self-Directed Distribution and Front Desk/Receptionist positions.
