The Komen Orange County Affiliate is proud to announce the availability of community grant funds for Fiscal Year 2012-2013. Proposals that specifically address the Statement of Need will be given priority. Our 2013 grant cycle runs from January 1st, 2013 through December 31, 2013.

All requests for science research funding should be directed to the Komen National Award and Research Grant Program at www.komen.org

2013 Community Grant Application Process and Timeline:
- Request for Applications (RFA) Release Date: Thursday, April 12, 2012

- Technical Assistance Grant Writing Workshop: Thursday, May 31, 2012; Time: 10am to 1pm

·   It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that all grant applicants attend the Technical Assistance Grant Writing Workshop held at the Komen Affiliate Office. A maximum of two individuals can attend from each organization.

·   You can RSVP as early as May 1, 2012, please contact Carol Kim at ckim@komenoc.org or (714) 957-9157 ext 29. The deadline to RSVP to the workshop is Wednesday, May 23, 2012.

- Deadline to Submit Grant Applications: Tuesday, July 17, 2012
- Announce Grant Awards on or before Thursday, November 1, 2012
- Grants Awards Event: Friday, December 7, 2012
