More than $399,000 awarded in Komen Fund Grants for 2012

The Orange County Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure awarded over $399,000 to 7 local nonprofit community clinics on Friday, Dec. 2nd, 2011, at the 5th Annual Grants Award Breakfast. The nonprofit community clinics will use these grant funds to ensure individuals who do not qualify for other resources and resides in Orange County receive timely diagnostic breast health care services. 

Non-profit community clinics receiving grants from Komen Orange County include:
• AltaMed Health Services
• Hurtt Family Health Clinic, Inc.
• Nhan Hoa Comprehensive Health Care Clinic
• Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties
• Serve the People Community Health Center
• Share Our Selves (SOS) Clinic
• UC Irvine - Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center
